STEP 1

Talk about what you do when you have problems with your computer.

My computer breaks down sometimes. I need it for daily use, so it's a bother when my computer doesn't work. Generally, the problem is software-related or hardware-related. For software, I can get my computer fixed by remote access these days. For hardware problems, I have to bring the computer to the service center in person.

STEP 2

Talk about when you had problems with your computer.

I recently had issues with my laptop's keyboard and trackpad. I couldn't enter text or control the mouse, so I went to the service center to have it looked at. They reset the system settings and updated the OS. Another time, I banged up my laptop somewhere. The display was damaged, and the affected area kept getting bigger. It was rendered unusable, so I had to replace the screen. The repair cost a mint. For older laptops, it makes more sense to just get a new one.

B: Sure, I'm not busy right now. What happened? What's wrong with it?

A: Yesterday night, it turned off on its own. I didn't touch anything.

B: Oh, I think it just installed some updates. It's an easy fix. Don't worry.
